As well as wiping the surfaces and tools, etc., Kev was kept busy with group sanitising every time we came back to our seats. This proved quite effective and ensured that everyone had been sanitised, so I think we will carry on this way for future courses. Unfortunately, on the Tuesday we were unable to com- plete the second stage of the carb sync, due to some issues with the aircraft fuel system and we had to shut down early. However, Kev was able to talk everyone through what was required and discuss the differences between doing a carb sync on a weightshift versus a three-axis aircraft. During our course, there is no time available for any troubleshooting, but we found out later that there was an issue with the fuel floats sinking. Now that we have completed the Teewah course and have another booked in for North Queensland this month, the Sunshine State will draw level with SA in the leader board of courses run. However, South Australia will shortly regain their first place (thanks to our pro-active CFI, Larry Jones), as we are now in the process of rescheduling the Strathalbyn course, which had been cancelled in May Courses by State South Australia 11 Queensland 11 New South Wales 10 Western Australia 10 Victoria 6 Total 48 Future courses will continue to be listed within the SAFA website under Members Area / Forums.
