SKY SAILOR 25 July | August 2019 the course is pretty full-on with not much time to spare. There is a limit to what we can cover in just two days. The lunch breaks unfortunately get shorter as we answer more questions during the class, but a lot of networking takes place during these breaks, which is also important. It is very noticeable that here, it doesn’t matter what you fly, whether a two-stroke or a four- stroke. Trike or three-axis pilots and flyers of all different disciplines and Organisations all exchange details with the other attendees to fly-in and meet up again in the future. We feel very privileged to be a part of this and will continue to run these courses for as long as we have people wishing to attend (and venues willing to Host a course) From this course, we have already received feedback from three attendees to say that they enjoyed it and learnt a lot, which is always nice to hear...(we will be sending a short 10-question survey out a few weeks after the course, for us to ensure that the course remains relevant for owners and maintainers of weightshift, three-axis (GA and RAAus), Gyros and also Motor Gliders). We will be back to Strathalbyn, SA towards the end of the year with the numbers on the waiting list already steadily growing. We may also have a couple of courses to run in other parts of the country, but have no provisional dates at the moment.
