Informal distances scored using your choice of online system or straight line Open Distance off your GPS. Come for as many days as you like, fly as far as you can, fly with and learn from some of the best XC pilots. Many pilots achieve PBs in Manilla each year. Mt Borah has four astro-turfed launches for nearly all wind directions, easy landings. The area offers some of the world’s safest XC flying for all pilot levels (from nov with some thermalling experience). Daily weather briefings, tips and trick sessions, campfire discussions, regular day prizes and scoring updates in all classes (Fun/Sport/ Serial). Open Class gliders welcome, but won’t be scored. The Flow Corryong PG Open 2020 16 to 22 February Corryong, VIC. Held at Mt Elliot, the Corryong Open is a high level, SAFA sanctioned, AAA/Cat2 comp, the final AAA event of the Australian season, with 450 ladder points available. It’s aimed at experienced inland intermediate to advanced rated pilots. Pilots need to arrange their own retrieve drivers.
