SKY SAILOR 9 May | June 2018 2018 June Victorian Blue Skies Paramotor Club Knowsley Air Park Fly-In 8-10 June Located north of the Great Dividing range, Knowsley enjoys the wonderfully stable microclimate of Central Victoria, making the vast majority of days flyable. Early morning and stunning sunset flights are usually when the best flying air is on offer. Foot launch take-off areas abound around the 100 acre air park, with launches downhill in nearly every direction. For flying machines with wheels there is even a 600 by 30m runway suitable for wheeled PPG, ultralights and microlights. Victorian Blue Skies Paramotor Club Lake Hume Fly-in 29 June to 1 July Lake Hume is a gorgeous place to fly with mountain ranges all around and endless miles of shoreline to follow. The launch site is privately owned and the Great Aussie Holiday Park (caravans, cabins, tents) owner is, himself, a PPG pilot of many years. The launch area is right on the banks of the lake and has plenty of room for foot launched and wheelbase PPG as well as powered parachutes. Everyone is welcome to come along. The facilities of the holiday park are absolutely brilliant, you won’t be disappointed. October Canungra ParaglidingCup 2018 6 to 13 October Canungra, QLD. AAA, Cat 2 event. Blow the winter blues away and fly the famous sites of SE Queensland, like Mt Tamborine and Beechmont. Great weather, great tasks and lots of fun, stress free flying.
