Whilst the top two places were Comp Class, a Sport Class pilot came third overall. Highest Fun Class was 48th. Best Female was in 38th flying in Sport Class. After eight days of flying, the scoring allowed for the two lowest scores to be dropped. Congratulations to the winner, Tudor Torobantu from Romania, who flew consistently every day on his Comp Class glider and on the last day set the site record. He gave some great accounts of his winning days at the morning briefings too. A BIG thank you to all the drivers who found pilots and returned them home safely each day. Laura Swan catering kept everyone fed at HQ with delicious meals every evening. We look forward to seeing XC hungry pilots for the 2020 event starting on 25 January.
