On 21 May 2020, Bogdan used the European long daylight hours of summer to fly an open distance of 353.3km across the flatlands in Ukraine on his Nova Sector (EN-C) with an average speed of more than 46km/h, making this the longest flight in Europe this season to date. First choppy weather conditions, followed by Covid-19 restrictions on outdoor activities, this spring XC pilots had a lot of spare time to plan Ukraine, 2020: Bogdan Baziuk flies 353km in Europe On 21 May 2020 Bogdan completed the then longest lowland flight of the year throughout Europe – 353.3km. One expects such flights in Brazil or Australia… but this took Bogdan through a stretch of his homeland Ukraine. Bogdan previously flew 437km from north to south across his home country on 29 June 2015 – another European best.
