SKY SAILOR 5 September | October 2019 variable descent rates. I touched down okay ( just taking a knee) on the edge of a new revegetation area covered with stakes. Afterwards, I was ecstatic – I’d never reached the back ridge or gone so far west from Sellicks before, but I had no one to share it with. I packed my glider up and hiked the one kilometre back to my car from where I phoned Drew Taylor who told me he’d also flown briefly and top-landed at Sellicks. My flight was one of those rare winter gems which keeps me going through duller times. Hope- fully, we may one day, year, decade,… get access to our former launch site there again… My tracklog – to make sense of this gem of a flight Notes: 1 A video of my launch and first few passes, thanks to Dave Williams [youtube.com/ watch?v=wKeieU_tuac&feature= youtu.be& fb clid=IwAR14RH3sX2K9eh7TfRyD5dg4BElRZIe- JBibhBs0JM44qaw-l-wyQD1DAzo] 2 More pics here [ photos.app.goo.gl/WBnmuky- EtRJpQSLn8] Human Factors Air (the environment) - Man (I’m safe) - Ship (the aircraft) I’M SAFE I llness?
