6 SKY SAILOR January | February 2021 President’s Update by Paul Green This is the last update for 2020 and I think it’s reasonable to say it has been a year that most will be happy to see the back of. Whilst we’ve done better than most other countries in dealing with the pandemic, it nonetheless posed challenges not previously seen in our lifetime. In some parts of Australia, life has been made more difficult than in other parts due to the dual impact of bushfires and Covid. To all our members who have been affected in any way, our thoughts are with you as we reflect at this time. May Christmas 2020 be a peaceful and happy one for all of you, and may 2021 deliver a safe and prosperous experience for all. This time of year also traditionally sees an upsurge in flying activity. We hope the weather gods are kind to you all and please take care up there. Thank you for continuing to be engaged with our wonderful sport and might we all enjoy a great flying year throughout 2021.
